GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Temple men’s golf team concluded its first of two straight tournaments in North Carolina, wrapping up play at the ECU Intercollegiate at Brook Valley on Tuesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Owls had a pair of players improve on their positions on the final day of competition, with sophomore Mason Tomé moving up one spot and senior Aidan Emmerich moving up three positions individually.
Senior Jake Naese was the top performer on the tournament for the Owls, closing in a tie for 27th place.
UNC Wilmington picked up the team win by ten strokes over host East Carolina.
Gray Mitchum was the lone player to finish the 54-hole event in red numbers, closing at three-under par 213.
