Carly Rae Jepsen announced on Tuesday that she gave birth to her first baby two weeks ago. The singer posted a mirror selfie to her Instagram Stories, where she wore a leopard-print bucket hat while holding her newborn in one arm. “Last two weeks have been the best of my life,” she wrote over the picture. “Welcome to the world little one.” The photo was accompanied by “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” by Frankie Valli.

Jepsen welcomed her first child with her husband, the musician Cole Marsden Greif-Neill (a.k.a. Cole M.G.N.) The couple got married in a fabulous New York wedding at the Chelsea Hotel in October 2025. A month later, they announced that they were expecting a baby in an Instagram post. Alongside an intimate series of black-and-white photos showing off her belly, Jepsen wrote, “Oh hi baby.”
Since then, Jepsen continued to share bump updates on her Instagram, including her growing belly in a number of posts. “What happens next I wonder?” she captioned one. “Disco Belly,” she wrote over another. Obviously, this update is the most exciting of all.
