The revealing podcast episode features many intriguing insights from Crosby after the trade suddenly disappeared. However, the most interesting aspect might be Crosby’s interactions with Baltimore head coach Jesse Minter.

“I dap him [Minter] up and you could just tell the energy was a bit off,” Crosby said. “In my head this is just a whirlwind. I’m so excited, like fired up … I dapped him up and he had like a blank face.”

While Crosby says he didn’t think much of the encounter in the moment, it’s clear that the Ravens had other motives which led to the trade being cancelled. Just days later, Baltimore made a move for free agent defensive end Trey Hendrickson.

Ultimately, the Ravens were able to save themselves from spending two first-round picks on Crosby as well. Crosby also says the experience of waiting for the trade to clear proved to be nerve-racking because of all the moving parts involved.

Meanwhile, a Ravens fan turned out to lose in the situation as well after going viral on social media for shaving his head after Crosby’s proposed trade. The only problem with the bet proved to be that Crosby didn’t end up moving from Las Vegas.

It’s unclear if the Raiders will try to move Crosby again, but for now, it seems that the NFL star is happy to continue his career in Las Vegas as the franchise rebuilds.
