Ryan Johansen is officially hanging up his skates.

Over the span of his career, Johansen compiled 110 goals and 252 assists for 362 points in 533 games.

Originally the fourth-overall pick of the 2010 NHL Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Vancouver native remained with the organization until he was traded to the Nashville Predators in 2016 in exchange for Seth Jones.

Johansen would enjoy, arguably, the best moments of his career with Nashville before he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche in June 2023.

He last played in the 2023-24 season, suiting up for 63 games with the Avalanche, scoring 13 goals and racking up 23 points.

In March 2024, Johansen was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers but never played for them after he was placed on unconditional waivers following a material breach of conduct that an independent arbitrator ultimately ended up ruling in favour of Philadelphia.
