Eric Dane’s estranged wife and daughters are paying tribute to their husband and father, one month after his death.
Dane, 53, passed away in February after being diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly referred to as Motor Neurone Disease in Australia, for less than a year.
Earlier this week, Rebecca Gayheart took to Instagram to share a video tribute to the late actor sharing never-before-seen memories of his life and their family together.
“There are no words. All our love forever — your girls,” she wrote.
The video included snaps of Dane with his costars, including Ellen Pompeo and the late James Van Der Beek.
Fans quickly took to the post filling the comments with thousands of heartfelt messages.
“So much love to you and your girls ❤️,” one commenter wrote.
Another fan said “This is clearly a family that will be together forever❤️ so much love to all.”
A third called the touching tribute “so beautiful❤️.”
Celebrities also were quick to send love to the family.
Reality star and realtor Tracy Tutor commented “What a beautiful tribute to your family. So sorry”, joining other notable names like Cynthia Bailey in sending positive vibes to the grieving.
Gayheart and Dane married in 2004 up until his death, however the pair filed for divorce in 2018 — with Gayheart dismissing the filing last March following his diagnosis.
It comes after news broke that Gayheart and her boyfriend Peter Morton called it quits last year, according to Page Six.
Morton is the founder of Hard Rock Cafe and the pair were first snapped together in 2023 on a double date in LA with model Claudia Schiffer and her husband, Matthew Vaughn.
According to the source, PEOPLE reports that Gayheart and Morton ended their relationship almost a year ago in April 2025.
However, they were both spotted holding hands and affectionately kissing each other on the lips in December.
But Page Six says it was not a date and the pair often catch up.
“They are still friendly,” the source said.
An on-again-off-again girlfriend of Dane also paid an emotional tribute to the Grey’s Anatomy star in February.
