The Rock is one of the most famous human beings on the planet, but Dwayne Johnson was eager to give the spotlight to Alina Dalaslan when they met. Dalaslan clashes with Karolina Sobek at Oktagon 83: Samsonidse vs. Machaev on January 31st in a bantamweight bout.

Previously, Dalaslan was at the premiere of ‘The Smashing Machine’ and got to interact with The Rock, with Johnson celebrating her spinning elbow KO that went viral while fighting for Oktagon MMA. Touching upon the machinations of that moment, Dalaslan said [via Bowks Talking Bouts],

“Yeah, that was crazy. I was invited to the premiere of ‘The Smashing Machine’ and I know I will see The Rock. But I didn’t know that he will be so impressed of my spinning elbow. It was just a couple days, I think two or three days after the fight, and I was just like hey, look at this video. It’s me, it’s my last KO, and he was like oh my god, show it again, show it again. Also Emily Blunt, I love her.”

“She’s so cool and she’s so nice, really. They both were so impressed. Yeah, I had a good conversation with them. After this in the cinema, they just called me out again in front of all the people. Yes, it means a lot to me to hear this from those two incredible persons. So yeah, I can’t forget this, never.”
