Second round action will continue on Day 4 of the ATP Miami Open, as many top players will be in action for the first time. This article features #3 seed Alexander Zverev, who will take on Martin Damm. As always, we at LWOT will offer predictions for every match on the slate, but who will advance?

ATP Miami Day 4 Predictions
Francisco Cerundolo vs Thiago Agustín Tirante

Head-to-Head: Cerundolo 0-1 Tirante

#18 seed Francisco Cerundolo will look to get off to a good start and build momentum for the future matches. He has a great record at this tournament and has lost only once before the quarterfinals. Thiago Agustin Tirante played one of the most brutal matches of the season as he defeated Valentin Royer in a thrilling three-setter. The match lasted well over three hours, and it won’t be easy for him to play his fellow Argentine without much rest.

Prediction: Cerundolo in 2

Cameron Norrie vs Alex Michelsen

Head-to-Head: Norrie 1-1 Michelsen

British No.1 Cameron Norrie got some much-needed match wins in Indian Wells and will look to replicate the same here. However, he doesn’t have a great previous record at this tournament, and he faces a stern test. Alex Michelsen easily defeated Mattia Bellucci in what looked like a tough first-round match for the American. He was clinical from the baseline and saved all six break points. Michelsen is playing more aggressively, and if he executes properly, he should win this match.

Prediction: Michelsen in 3

Frances Tiafoe vs Arthur Cazaux

Head-to-Head: first meeting

Frances Tiafoe comes in with some good match wins and momentum under his belt. He has won 7 of his last 10 matches and would look to make a deep run here. Arthur Cazaux got his first tour-level win of the season, defeating Tomas Barrios Vera in straight sets. The Frenchman hit 14 aces and got broken just once. Cazaux is still lacking matches under his belt and might struggle to sustain the high level required to beat Tiafoe.

Prediction: Tiafoe in 3

Alexander Zverev vs Martin Damm

Head-to-Head: first meeting

Alexander Zverev achieved his best result in Indian Wells by reaching the semifinals and will look to end the Sunshine Double on a strong note. He has incorporated more aggression and variety in his game, and can be a very dangerous player if he can find the right balance on the quick courts of Miami. Martin Damm has a big serve, which should help him be competitive against Zverev, who has not been returning well lately. However, Zverev has more experience and a higher level if required.

Prediction: Zverev in 2
