Jesinta Franklin has finally revealed the very unique name of her newborn son, her third child with her AFL star husband, Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin.
Jesinta and Lance welcomed their baby boy on the Gold Coast in December, and are already parents to Tallulah, six, and Rocky, five.
On Monday, the model, 34, posted an adorable black and white photograph of her cradling her newborn and shared how he “hasn’t left her side” since he was born.
“Me and my little sidekick, Bam,” she penned, revealing her son’s unusual name.
“He’s been on every Zoom, attended every meeting, every photoshoot and now, every podcast I’ve done since he was born.
“It can be tricky finding the balance between it all but this guy has made it so easy for us.
“He doesn’t leave our side and just rolls with the chaos that is our life.”
Friends and fans rushed to the comments section to congratulate Franklin on her new bundle of joy and gush that his unusual name is “so cute”.
“Thank you for letting us know his name. So cute,” one fan wrote.
“Hi Bam’s mum,” Aussie comedian Celeste Barber added.
“Beautiful baby Bam with his beautiful mum,” another friend said.
However some struggled to accept the child’s name was actually authentic.
“Is his name Bam? Or just a cute nickname?” one questioned.
“It’s his name x,” Jessinta assured them.
Howver others weren’t convinced, with one follower asking “Why is the name a secret” along with an eye-rolling emoji.
The businesswoman, who co-owns honey business Honey For Life, recently opened up about the downsides of pregnancy as she prepared to welcome baby Bam.
“This little person has given me a rough time the last couple of months,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
“Sadly, I’m not someone who thrives when they are pregnant…House, couch or bed bound given the odd occasion.”
Jesinta also said she had “spent a lot of time” struggling with sickness and eventually started taking medication, which she said was “game-changing”.
Despite the tough early trimesters, the podcaster described her third pregnancy as an “absolute blessing”.
“Even though we thought we were happy and done with two beautiful children, we have been lucky enough to add another to the family,” she penned.
“Life works in mysterious ways, and I’m leaning into this next chapter with a grateful heart.
“Lulu and Rocky are beside themselves and can’t wait to meet their baby.”
Jesinta and Lance started dating in 2012 and got married four years later in a private ceremony attended by just close friends and family.
The AFL couple famously purchased a sprawling Gold Coast mansion for a reported $8.75 million in 2022, but are understood to have downsized last year to a $4.6 million country estate.
