UFC Fight Night 270 and PFL Madrid took place last week, causing movement in this week’s rankings update.
In the main event of UFC Fight Night 270 in London, Movsar Evloev picked up a majority decision over Lerone Murphy. Given their positions in the featherweight division near the top at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, there was no movement for either fighter.
While that headliner didn’t produce movement, the middleweight main event at PFL Madrid between Costello van Steenis and Fabian Edwards was the source of a change. Van Steenis knocked out Edwards in the third round to defend the middleweight title, and moves from the honorable mentions into the No. 15 spot. Sticking with the middleweight division, but over in London, Christian Leroy Duncan picked up a key win over Roman Dolidze to claim the No. 14 spot.
