American tennis star Tommy Paul takes on France’s Arthur Fils in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Miami Open on March 25.
Paul and Fils have gone head-to-head only one other time, during the 2023 Shanghai Masters, where Paul came out victorious 6-7, 6-7(7), 6-4. Paul, fresh off his 6-1,6-3 win over Tomás Martín Etcheverry in Miami, is thriving in front of a home crowd in Florida.
The Paul-Fils showdown marks the South Florida-native’s 7th Masters 1000 quarterfinal on home soil. Paul says there’s a camaraderie among the U.S. players, and he’s built a friendship with Sebastian Korda, who stunned World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the third round.
“I heard it from out on my court, it was hard not to hear it!” Paul told the Tennis Channel about the crowd’s noise for Korda. “But I was pumped for him.”
Cheering for Paul at Hard Rock Stadium is his fiancée, Paige Lorenze. Paul first started dating Lorenze in 2022. He proposed in July 2025.

Lorenze, founder of the lifestyle and clothing brand, Dairy Boy, is a regular at Paul’s matches. A few days before the 2026 Miami Open kicked off, Lorenze shared some exciting news.

Lorenze announced she’s launching a new athletic line, DB Sports, set to launch on April 2. “I was a downhill ski racer. I went to a ski racing academy, and growing up as a serious competitive athlete, these are clothes that I’ve been wearing my whole life,” she explained to Elle.
“One of my jobs in college [at The New School] was working at a ski shop that sold technical but fashionable outdoor wear. Now tennis is a big part of my life with my fiancé being a tennis player, and I found myself wearing even more activewear as an adult. But I always felt there was a gap in the market.”

“I was constantly saving references from the 2000s—old Nike, old Adidas, even brands that don’t exist anymore, old tennis dresses. A lot of the time for tennis matches I’m buying things on eBay and getting them tailored and completely reworked. So I thought, I should be creating product in this category.”
Not only do the pieces work for running errands or hitting the gym, they’re also perfect for Paul’s matches. “It’s also what I’d want to wear to a tournament. I’m not playing, but I’m there, on the grounds,” Lorenze added. “I’m honestly most proud of the DB Sport collection because I’m more of a sporty girl than a fashion girl. I love the effortless style around sport.”
Paige Lorenze Says Getting Married to Tommy Paul Is Reflected in Her Clothing Line

“I’m really looking forward to getting married, and I’m looking forward to some collections reflecting that,” she told People of her clothing line last year. “We’re growing our team, which is really exciting,” she says. “I feel like every year brings growth, and really, I’m able to move faster towards my goals.”
The 28-year-old can’t wait to tie the knot. “Everything is so much better since being engaged,” she gushed. “In a sort of cheesy way, everything feels more serious and more special and it feels like we’re starting our own tradition.”
Paul sent his future wife a special message on Instagram to celebrate her birthday in January. He wrote, “Happy birthday to my better half ❤️ Have a feeling this year will be the best one yet.”
