Three weeks remain until the return of Arkansas football.
All eyes are on the Razorbacks’ opener against Alabama A&M. Arkansas will play just two games in Fayetteville during the month of September, with a pair of road tests against regional rivals within the first five weeks of the regular season.
The Hogs are coming off a 7-6 campaign that exceeded preseason expectations yet fell short of the team’s ceiling. The task for Sam Pittman and his coaching staff is to improve upon that record after a rash of transfer departures against a tougher schedule.
Still, there’s optimism within the program thanks to Taylen Green’s return as the starting quarterback. It’ll be his second season in Bobby Petrino’s offense, which has coaches and teammates salivating about the senior’s potential this fall.
Additionally, Arkansas remade its offensive line and secondary, hoping for meaningful improvements. Both units are deeper with competition ongoing in fall camp.
