What is Spider-Man: Brand New Day about?
Set a few years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, when a magical spell went awry and removed everyone’s memory of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man, the new film sees our favourite webhead living in anonymity as a full-time, self-funded superhero, while everyone he used to know, including love interest MJ, moves on with their lives.
But, as ever, a new and mysterious threat arises. And just as Spidey’s powers start to wig out on him, too. Plus, the Punisher shows up.
The cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Why we’re excited about Spider-Man: Brand New Day
We’ve been waiting for a street level, broke-ass Spider-Man for far too long, so this thing is manna from heaven for us. It looks like the world agrees, given the record-breaking popularity of this first trailer. What’s really going to be fun is seeing how Jon Bernthal’s brutal, brooding Punisher fits in with Spider-Mans much more optimistic and family friendly vibe.
