A NUMBER of firsts await an excited Bayley Hall in 2026, starting with his first Supercars livery reveal tomorrow.

Team 18 is unleashing its Supercheap Auto wildcard look ahead of Hall’s main game debut in a solo capacity at Queensland Raceway in August, after which he’ll partner Craig Lowndes at The Bend 500 and Bathurst 1000.

It’s a giant opportunity for the 22-year-old, yet one can’t help but ponder the prospect of him racing a Supercar at his home track on the Gold Coast.

That’s because of the extent to which Hall has been unstoppable on the streets of Surfers Paradise in Porsche Carrera Cup Australia.

Hall in fact has won each of the past seven Carrera Cup races on the Gold Coast (2023-25). That accounts for all but one of his race wins in the category, the exception being in Adelaide 2024.

Asked if he’d wish for a chance to race a Gen3 Camaro Supercar at the glitzy concrete canyon, Hall replied: “One million percent.

“I think these things over the kerbs would be unreal. I just love that track.

“There’s something about scraping the walls and being right up against the limit that I really love.

“They’re a different beast, obviously the Cup car I got really used to around that street circuit, so it wouldn’t be as black-and-white and as easy to get straight to the front in main game as well, but one day hopefully I get to drive it in a Supercar.

“It would be something pretty special.”

Hall has switched from Carrera Cup to Super2 this season.
