The Singapore Cricket Club International Rugby 7s (SCC7s) 2025 returns for its 76th edition from 15-16 November at the SCC Padang, and the teams for the Men’s Open tournament have been confirmed.

The organsiers say they are “continuing its legacy as one of the world’s longest running and most iconic rugby sevens tournaments. Held annually at the historic Padang in the heart of Singapore’s civic district, the SCC7s is a celebration of high-performance rugby, community spirit, and international sporting camaraderie.”

There are 16 Men’s teams competing from seven different countries in the SCC7s Open Men’s Tournament 2025, but there are also Academy, Schools and College 7s, as well as Corporate Touch tournaments taking place.

SCC7s Tournaments 2025

The SCC7s now encompasses four dynamic tournaments under its banner, bringing together age-group rugby, schools competition, corporate engagement, and elite-level men’s rugby from around the world.

SCC Academy 7s –  SCC Padang & SCC Dempsey

Over 200 junior U5-U18 teams are expected from clubs and academies across the region.

A national competition featuring 24 top Singapore schools, championing youth rugby development.

Featuring elite teams from across the globe, competing for the coveted Ablitt Cup.

Jonathan Leow, Chairman of the SCC 7s, told Rugby Asia 247, “It’s an exciting lineup this year, with Shogun RFC joining the fold – a team we know brings serious pedigree from their performances at the Hong Kong 10s. We’re also expecting strong showings from the returning Royal Town Warriors and Lloyd McDermott Rugby, both of whom will undoubtedly raise the level of competition on the Padang.”

The tournament has been live-streamed for the last 2 years, and will be again this year on various platforms to be confirmed.
