Many disciplines, united by one shared passion: football. This vision was brought to life by more than 100 athletes who gathered this morning at the Konami Youth Development Centre for a football tournament open to all abilities — four matches played together under the message “We Are Sport.”

Taking centre stage were athletes from Inter’s three Special teams: football for the visually impaired, organised in collaboration with Real Eyes Sport founded by Daniele Cassioli; powerchair football played alongside the Snakes Milano; and the FIGC Paralympic and Experimental Football Division team dedicated to people with cognitive disabilities, the first squad “adopted” by Inter and managed by ASD Sporting4E.

Joining them on the pitches at Interello were girls and boys from the club’s youth sector as well as inclusive football teams from across the local area: from the Bebe Vio Academy founded by Bebe Vio, to associations such as Accademia Isola Bergamasca — part of the Inter Grassroots Program — and Calcio Integrato Cesano Maderno.

For the Inter youth academy players attending their second year of high school at the Inter College, the morning of sport and shared enjoyment — as well as the symbolic closeness to the Special teams — formed part of a broader educational pathway focused on disability awareness and the value of inclusion in sport. The programme is delivered within the framework of UEFA’s anti-discrimination initiative UEFA Outraged.

At the end of the tournament, all the athletes gathered together for refreshments organised with the inclusive catering service Pit’sa.
