Womens Tennis remains undefeated in conference play with 4-0 win over Tusculum

Greeneville, TN- The Lenoir-Rhyne women’s tennis team remain undefeated in conference play with a 4-0 victory over Tusculum on Saturday. 

The Bears took control early with the doubles pairings of Mehetia Boosie / Runa Muderrisoglu and Alexa Allison / Nellie Wahlberg securing the doubles point. The Bears continued the momentum in singles play, with Sandra Mahbouli, Mehetia Boosie, and Disha Khandoji winning their matches at #4-5-6 to secure the team victory.

The Bears will be back in action next Saturday as they head to Salisbury, N.C. to face off against the No. 7 Catawba Indians. Catawba is 12-1 on the year and are undefeated in conference play after defeating Mars Hill 4-0 earlier today. Their lone loss of the year came at the hands of #2 Nova Southeastern back in February. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
