The NFL analyst projects Proctor to be drafted by the Detroit Lions, while Simpson lands with the Arizona Cardinals and Bernard landing with the San Francisco 49ers.
Each former Alabama player listed in Yates’ mock draft played a critical role on the Tide’s offense last season. Simpson and Bernard were widely regarded as one of the top quarterback-receiver duos in the nation, while Proctor did an excellent job in protecting Simpson and elevating the run game.
Proctor and Simpson have been widely considered as first round selections in April by a multitude of analysts across both the NFL and college football world, and Bernard is expected to be one of the top route runners taken off the board in the second round.
Simpson recorded 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns during his lone season as the Tide’s starting quarterback in 2025. Bernard remained as a constant go-to option for Simpson last year, as the talented receiver was credited with 862 yards and seven touchdowns on 64 receptions.
