Several big shows were absent on Tuesday, but then this really used to be Easter non-ratings.

Traditionally this pre-Easter week would really have been a “non-ratings week” if not for the changes recently agreed to by networks. 

Which might explain why some shows were in absentia last night.

Married at First Sight 1.9m in National TV Audience easily defeating 7:30 (865,000), Foreign Correspondent (592,000), Highway Patrol (555,000 / 525,000) and a lengthy Socceroos v Curacao (375,000) match on 10.

Later The Matter of Facts was 406,000 then The Hunting Wives (396,000) and Doc (367,000).

Nine News drew 1.33m for Nine then wins for A Current Affair (1.21m) and Tipping Point (800,000). Footy Classified was 126,000 then Nine News Late (112,000) where they screened.

Seven News led with 1.42m then Home & Away high at 985,000 and The Chase (682,000). House of Wellness was 148,000.

ABC News made the magic 1.00m then Hard Quiz (382,000), Creative Types with Virginia Trioli (124,000) and Compass (TBA).

10 News managed 287,000. Due to football not all shows screened in all markets but 10 News+ was 113,000 where it screened.

On SBS it was SBS World News (240,000 / 149,000), Insight (120,000), Great Continental Railway Journeys (118,000), and Dateline (102,000).
