Key EuroLeague players, including Matt Morgan, Kameron Taylor, and Dustin Sleva, have seen their stock rise ahead of the summer transfer window. Their strong performances have attracted the attention of top European clubs, potentially leading to significant roster changes as teams compete to secure these emerging talents.

The EuroLeague season is approaching its crucial playoff phase. Inevitably, teams are focusing more on next season’s planning to gain a competitive advantage on key targets.

Prices in the EuroLeague market continue to rise exponentially, so it’s crucial to secure lesser-known players before the competition does.

Every year, several players from both inside and outside the EuroLeague emerge as serious transfer targets, despite being overlooked at the start of the season.

But which players have seen their stock rise since the start of the season and could become key players in the summer transfer market?

We’ve put together a list of some names already on the EuroLeague market whose stocks have risen during this season.

After joining Virtus in the summer of 2024 following an outstanding Summer League performance, Matt Morgan had a first season in Italy marked by ups and downs.

While his performance improved in the latter part of the season, his overall consistency remained lacking.

However, this season, things have definitely changed. The American guard has become one of Virtus Bologna’s standout performers, providing crucial contributions off the bench.

Last season, Morgan finished with an average of just under 8 points per game in the EuroLeague, shooting only 27% from three-point range.

This year, he is averaging 13 points per game while shooting 36% from beyond the arc.

His progress is plain for everyone to see; consequently, Virtus Bologna fear it will be difficult to retain him.

Morgan’s contract is set to expire, and negotiations for a renewal have not yielded much progress so far.

Sources have told BasketNews that Zalgiris Kaunas and Paris Basketball are already monitoring his situation and may soon submit official offers.

Arriving unexpectedly midway through the season, few anticipated that Jared Rhoden would make such an immediate impact with Paris Basketball.

However, the 26-year-old American quickly became a vital part of the Parisian rotation.

A swingman with excellent athleticism, capable of playing tough defense on the perimeter and boasting good accuracy from three-point range, Rhoden is attracting attention from major European clubs, including Olympiacos.

His contract with Paris Basketball expires at the end of the season, making it difficult for the French side to keep him.

So far, Rhoden is averaging 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist per game, shooting 43% from three-point range.

Kameron Taylor | Valencia

Valencia has been one of the biggest surprises of the season, with Kam Taylor emerging as one of the league’s best two-way wings.

In his first season in Valencia, the American player immediately adapted to the environment.

As an excellent defender and a proficient shot-creator off the dribble, Taylor has inevitably drawn significant attention.

Valencia’s decision to pay a hefty buyout to acquire him from Malaga last summer has proven remarkably successful.

Taylor is averaging 12 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in the EuroLeague, shooting 42% from three-point range.

The player is under contract with Valencia for next season as well, and while the Spanish club intends to keep him, multiple EuroLeague teams will likely try to lure him away.

After an excellent EuroCup season with Besiktas, Zalgiris Kaunas signed Dustin Sleva last summer; the American power forward is already rewarding the Lithuanian club’s investment.

In his first EuroLeague season, Sleva is averaging 7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, shooting 42% from three-point range.

His impact extends beyond the box score; Sleva has quickly become a fan favorite in Kaunas due to his defensive intensity and consistent positive influence.

Last summer, Sleva signed a 1+1 contract with Zalgiris, so his future in Kaunas is not guaranteed.

Sources told BasketNews that at least a couple of EuroLeague clubs, including Anadolu Efes, are keeping an eye on his situation.

What is certain is that Sleva has definitely raised his stock since the start of the season.

Mamadi Diakite | Baskonia

After arriving in Europe following stints in the NBA and G League, Mamadi Diakite quickly became an integral part of Paolo Galbiati’s rotation at Baskonia.

The Guinea-born player is a highly mobile, athletic big man who can effectively protect the rim.

In his first EuroLeague season, Diakite is averaging 7.5 points, 4 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and 1.1 assists per game.

The former Milwaukee Bucks player has also shown some shooting range, though his outside shot remains inconsistent.

His performances are already attracting interest from other EuroLeague clubs, such as Olimpia Milan.

However, Diakite has a year left on his contract with Baskonia, and the Spanish club will do everything it can to keep him around for at least another season.
