Lakers’ LeBron James passes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for another NBA record

Lebron passed Kareem, now the all-time leader in games won.

So Luka also passes 15,000 career points at the age of 27.

So both guys had a landmark last night.

What does that mean?

I know, I big.

So let’s, we’re gonna give flowers to both of them.

Caroline, I’ll let you go first.

Who do you wanna give flowers to?

Yeah, I mean, like this is hard because I wanna give flowers to both of them, but I’ll give my flowers to LeBron because LeBron needs flowers.

You know?

LeBron doesn’t get enough love.

LeBron James.

Exactly.

I’ve heard Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, pretty, pretty good.

So if anytime you can do something more than Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it, I think that’s awfully impressive.

I think that both, what we saw last night between both Luka and LeBron is indicative t- of two things that we fall in love with as sports fans: instant, immediate success in a short period of time, and sustained success over a long period of time, and that’s what we saw from LeBron.

LeBron is otherworldly.

LeBron is one of the best players that we will ever watch, that has ever played this sport, and he has done it at such an incredibly high level for so long.

And I think surpassing this threshold of most wins ever in the NBA is indicative of that.

And when LeBron James is eventually enshrined forever in the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame, he is going to have a very, very, very, very, very long resume and list of accomplishments of why he deserve to be, deserves to be immortalized in the highest regard, and this will be one of them.

I think that we all And I know there are LeBron haters out there.

I hear you.

I know.

There are Tom Brady haters out there, too.

Anytime someone’s great, someone’s gonna hate it.

I think that we all just need to appreciate that we are watching history in motion, in, in person, personified right now, and that’s a really beautiful thing
