The fixture for 2026 NSW/ACT Wheelchair AFL League has been confirmed, with six rounds of competition to take place this season.
The season will open on the Central Coast next Saturday April 11, with eight teams due to compete.
Competing teams include Macquarie University, Western Magic, Tuggeranong Valley, Wagga Tigers, Temora Kangaroos, Central Coast Rolling Tides (University of Newcastle), Newcastle Seahorses (University of Newcastle) and UNSW.
2026 will be the debut season for both University of Newcastle teams, with the university club having been established earlier this year.
Wheelchair AFL is one of the fastest growing Wheelchair sports in Australia. Â
Open to all abilities, Wheelchair AFL is a great way for people living with disabilities and those not living with disabilities to play sport alongside each other.
Club League Champions of the NSW/ACT Wheelchair AFL League will be announced at the final round of the competition on Saturday May 23 at the Blacktown Disability Sports Centre.Â
