A woman has died after she was struck by a bus in the heart of Adelaide on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of King William Road and Victoria Drive about 5pm following reports a pedestrian had been hit.
The 39‑year‑old North Adelaide woman died at the scene.

Major Crash officers examined the area, forcing the closure of King William Road between North Terrace and War Memorial Drive, as well as Victoria Drive.
Police believe the woman was retrieving a personal item from the road when she was struck.
All roads were reopened about 10pm on Wednesday night.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash — or drivers with dashcam footage from the area — to come forward.
Her death marks the 30th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.
