Tyrese Haliburton responded to Kevin Durant making claims about his scoring with an image that spoke a thousand words.
Kevin Durant is known to get into back-and-forth arguments with fans online from time to time. Despite being one of the greatest players of all time, Durant is very combative over his legacy.
Durant frequently roams social media in search of posts criticizing him, only to respond in quick and clinical fashion.
When a fan questioned Durant’s legacy and sensitivity, he was among the first people to leave a comment under the post.
And most recently, Durant defended his efficient scoring from a critic. The fan questioned Durant’s desire to score based on his shot attempts. It appears Durant has some backup in one of his NBA peers.

Tyrese Haliburton responded to Kevin Durant’s harsh response to a fan about his scoring and efficiency. Even though he wrote no words, it’s fair to assume Haliburton agreed with Durant.
Haliburton simply shared an image of what is known as a ‘stank face’, commonly seen by enthusiastic music fans when they think a performance is so slick and complete that it becomes ‘nasty.’
NBA fans had plenty to say about Haliburton’s response. One fan wrote, “Wow, two efficiency kings interacting.”
But another fan was just happy to see Hali supporting KD, noting, “Greatness appreciating greatness.”
One fan couldn’t help but speculate about Durant and Hali together, saying, “KD to Indy somehow? Get him a 1-2 year deal.”
While another fan agreed with Durant’s words and how they apply to Haliburton, claiming, “I’ve been in these streets defending your stats like we’re related!”
Tyrese Haliburton approaches scoring the same way as Kevin Durant
While Haliburton may have agreed with Kevin Durant over his recent scoring claims, that isn’t because the two are at the same level.
Haliburton isn’t even one of the best scorers on his team, let alone the entire NBA. However, it’s not his scoring that makes him dangerous.
As a scorer, Haliburton averages 17.5 points per game in his career. But it’s his 47.7% career field goal percentage that shows how efficient he is.
While Haliburton isn’t putting up 40-point performances like Durant is, he is still incredibly efficient with the rock in his hands.
If anything, Haliburton can be a more dangerous offensive player, as he can dictate the game with his pace and passing, setting up other teammates for big shots.
