A massive MMA show could be heading to Ireland in the near future.
Okatgon MMA star Brian Manning.
MMA star Brian Manning is looking forward to laying down a marker when he returns to Oktagon MMA.
The Cork native made a stir in his debut for the organization earlier this year, going viral for his unique ringwalk before getting the job done inside one round.
That win took him to 6-0, and the middleweight is now primed to take on Robert Pukač on June 6th. Manning will be on enemy territory for that fight, but that doesn’t seem to be worrying him too much.
“I AM THE KING. So what’s a prince to me?” said Manning upon the announcement of this bout.

“KING OF CORK IS TAKING OUT THE PRINCE OF BRATISLAVA. I’m gonna silence the thousands in attendance and raise that Irish flag once again.”
Oktagon has blossomed into one of the biggest MMA organisations in the world and is packed full of Irish talent, with Will Fleury holding gold at light-heavyweight and heavyweight. With so many Irish stars, a return to these shores seems inevitable at this stage.
“I think I will contribute massively towards getting an OKTAGON show in Ireland. Myself, Will Fleury, Jack Maguire, Richie Smullen and Denis Frimpong. We will get this over the line and to my fellow Irish people what a treat ye are in for. OKTAGON IRELAND 2027 will be one their best shows ever put on.”
