“With the current situation, we consulted with local, state and federal government representatives about the carnival and are grateful for their support for it to go ahead, given its importance as a major grassroots development and touring opportunity for young boys and girls with a passion for rugby, and its value to the Armidale economy of upwards of $3 million,” Mr Pearson said.
