Two of the hottest teams in the league face off on Saturday afternoon.

The San Antonio Spurs have won 11 games in a row and are just two games back of the Thunder for the top spot in the Western Conference. The Denver Nuggets have fared pretty well themselves, winning seven straight to get them in the mix for the three seed in the conference.

The road team won each of the first two meetings with the Spurs, getting a 139-136 win in November, and the Nuggets won 136-131 last month.

Nikola Jokic brought down 20 rebounds in San Antonio last month, and he’s on quite the hot streak recently. He’s gone OVER 13.5 rebounds in 6 straight games and 9 of his last 11 overall.

Wemby may be able to keep Jokic somewhat in check, but the big man will still get his fair share on the glass.

Both of the first meetings between these two teams flew OVER the total, and that’s the way I’m going this afternoon.

Denver is one of the most profitable teams when it comes to betting the OVER this season at 47-30, and although San Antonio trends the other way, we’ve seen the Spurs pick up the pace when they need to.

After over 265 points in each of the first two meetings, I’ll happily take the OVER with the total once again in the low 240s.
