Britain’s Got Talent audiences found themselves expressing identical sentiments within moments of tonight’s programme beginning.
The royal variety show returned this evening with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, KSI, and Alesha Dixon searching for the nation’s greatest talent.
As the audition rounds progressed, numerous acts aspired to emulate the success of Paul Potts and Susan Boyle.
Aiming to achieve similar acclaim to last year’s champion, magician Harry Moulding, a collective of magicians demonstrated their abilities on stage.
The threesome, known as the Maverick Magicians, were determined to “put as many smiles on as many faces as we can” and showcase their craft globally, reports the Mirror.

Nevertheless, audiences weren’t particularly impressed by their performance, which entailed escorting Simon Cowell outside the venue to purchase a watermelon, before disclosing that the identical watermelon contained a concealed message linked to KSI, following his writing of a school companion’s name on paper.
Viewers were left frustrated that the performance was “boring”, as one commented: “I’m bored with magic now.”
Another stated, “Boring and it would take too long at Royal Variety.”

Yet another remarked: “Well, that was a rubbish act! Also longer than 2 minutes,” while someone else declared: “What a load of fake, fixed c***.”
“Just get on with it,” one audience member said, while someone else contributed: “Bit long winded.”
“Yawn,” several echoed, with yet another viewer commenting: “Sorry, but I’m over magicians.”

Another stated, “Maverick Magicians – I bet if you were there, it was great, but sat at home, I was bored.”
Some viewers, however, insisted they had figured out the secret behind the illusion, with one suggesting: “The piece of paper was obviously already on the floor under the guy’s foot,” while another stated: “I bet the note was in the Hammer, definitely staged.”
Others took issue with the negative feedback, as one remarked: “Maverick Magicians, that was good!”

Someone else posted: “That was ok though!” as another observed: “Holy s**t. They’re awesome and pretty hot too.”
Despite audience reactions, the judges were thoroughly impressed by Maverick Magicians, with KSI astonished to find his friend’s name on the piece of paper.
KSI confessed he was “lost for words,” declaring: “That was incredible. A huge yes from me.”
“That’s unbelievable,” Simon contributed, saying he was “blown away”, while Amanda described it as “exciting”.
Britain’s Got Talent returns next Saturday at 6.45pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
