A man has been charged after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase with two children in the car in NSW’s Far West.
The 32-year-old allegedly ignored police directions to stop for roadside breath testing on Menindee Rd at Broken Hill about 10pm on Saturday.
A pursuit was initiated onto the Barrier Hwy, where the vehicle allegedly reached speeds of up to 180km/h in a 110km/h zone.

After travelling about 160km, Wilcannia Police deployed road spikes, bringing the sedan to a stop.
The man allegedly ran into nearby bushland before being arrested a short time later.
Police then found a 34-year-old woman, a 14-year-old girl and a seven-month-old girl inside the vehicle.
None of them were injured.
The man was taken to Broken Hill Police Station and charged with three offences, including driving while disqualified, police pursuit — fail to stop — drive dangerously and contravening an AVO.
He was refused bail and was due to appear before Bail Division Court 4 on Sunday.
