PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University men’s tennis team is set for a home match against the Howard Bison on Monday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. Following three consecutive losses, the Owls will look to flip the page heading into their final week of regular-season competition.
Last Time Out
Temple dropped a 6-1 decision at Monmouth, with Lance Cochran earning the Owls’ lone point in a straight-sets singles victory.
The Owls followed with a 6-1 loss to NJIT at home, where Oliver Aguilar secured Temple’s only win with a three-set singles performance.
Temple went 0-2 on the week and will close the regular season with a trio of matches starting on Monday.
Scouting Howard
The Bison approach the homestretch of their season with a 0-9 record, last falling to Norfolk State 7-0.
Howard and Temple squared off last season with the Owls earning a 4-1 victory.
Nicholas Askew, a former dual-sport athlete, serves as the Bison’s Director of Tennis and also leads Howard’s swimming and diving program.
