THERE is one team that has tended to up its game more than anyone in Supercars’ early days at Taupō.

Dick Johnson Racing has accumulated most points of all two-car squads (for this purpose only Brad Jones Racing’s lead garage is counted) across the opening two editions of the Taupō Super440.

That’s particularly noteworthy given DJR failed to trouble the top four in the teams’ championship in either season.

But there’s just something about Taupō it has clicked with.

All three of its 2024 podiums came at Taupō, with Anton De Pasquale taking home the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy.

Brodie Kostecki then last year opened his pole and podium tallies for DJR at Taupō, where Will Davison took his final podium in Shell colours.

Race wins have been divided relatively evenly, between Grove Racing (two), BJR (one), Triple Eight (one) and Walkinshaw TWG Racing (one).

See below for the full points accumulated team-by-team across the five Taupō Supercars races to date (two in 2024, three last year).
