A toddler has died after being pulled from water at a private property on Queensland’s Western Downs.
Emergency services were called to the property at Tara, about 300 kilometres west of Brisbane, shortly after 1pm on Monday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the 18-month-old boy was taken to Tara Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
He died in hospital hours later.
The LifeFlight helicopter crew was initially called to assist.
Police said the incident was not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
