A reality star’s 40th birthday bash has ended in chaos after furious neighbours decided to take revenge on the noisy partygoers.

Former Bachelor winner, Laura Byrne, hosted a backyard party at her North Bondi home to celebrate the milestone alongside her nearest and dearest.

However, the evening took a “messy” turn when angry neighbours begun pelting eggs over the fence.

“I had my 40th birthday party on the weekend and there’s nothing that has ever screamed more ‘millennial mums gone wild’”, the mum-of-three shared on her Life Uncut podcast.

The media personality admitted that she was having an absolute blast and completely “lost track of time”.

“I feel so sorry for my neighbours,” she shared.

“I didn’t know it was midnight, and all of a sudden I hear: ‘I’ve been hit!’

“My 40th birthday party ended with us being egged in the backyard.”

Her co-host and fellow reality star Brittany Hockley, who’d left the party earlier in the evening, was stunned to hear how the festivities ended.

“That’s really dangerous. From a high trajectory, that could be really painful,” Hockley exclaimed.

However, Byrne saw the funny side of the midnight confrontation, noting the situation could have been much worse.

“I woke up the next day and I thought, full respect to my neighbour for not calling the police,” she said.

“If Laura Byrne got arrested on her 40th, nothing would have made me happier,” Hockley joked.

Despite the dramatic turn of events, the evening appeared to be a huge success.

Taking to Instagram to share snaps of the event, Byrne was all smiles in a dazzling red dress as she cuddled her family outside their home.

“I always said I wanted to go to Europe for my 40th, but that feels rather audacious now that there are three kids in the mix,” she told her followers.

“So we brought a little Capri to Bondi.”

The intimate gathering featured canapes made by a private chef, while guests were serenaded by local Bondi singer Louis Sam Green.

“Incredibly grateful to have such wonderful people in my life, surrounded by love, a smoke machine and some terrible dance moves is everything I could have asked for,” she added.

Fans were quick to flood the comments section of her post, and poked fun at the “wild” end to the evening.

“Throwing eggs in this economy!?” one person joked.

“Would rather have the cops rock up than being egged! Less mess!” a second wrote.

“It’s not a real 40th unless the cops get called or you get egged by your neighbours,” another teased.

Byrne first shot to fame in 2017 after winning the heart of her now-husband Matty Johnson on The Bachelor.

The loved-up couple tied the knot in 2022 and enjoy a busy and vibrant lifestyle living in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, where they’re raising their three young daughters.

The 40-year-old has built a massive broadcasting empire, co-hosting the popular Life Uncut podcast alongside Hockley.
