It has been a successful season for Guernsey FC which has mainly been built on strong form on their home island.
Vance’s men moved into their new home at Victoria Park at the start of the season and have immediately settled into their new surroundings, winning 16 of their 18 home league games, and scoring 82 goals.
Vance’s side will be guaranteed a home play-off semi-final if they remain third, as they seek a return to the ninth-tier of English football following relegation last season.
“It’s been amazing,” Vance said. “We were at Footes Lane but it wasn’t really our home. We were sharing it with rugby, athletics, and you couldn’t really create much of an atmosphere down there.
“This is completely a different level – it’s a game-changer for us, and certainly the results and performances have allowed us to be expansive and play a nice brand of football.
“That’s down to the facilities here.”
