The case of a woman accused of murdering Queensland teenager Pheobe Bishop has been adjourned to May 15 — the first anniversary of Pheobe’s disappearance.
Tanika Kristan Bromley did not appear when her matter was mentioned in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today.
She has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of interfering with a corpse.

The court heard the defence was still waiting on outstanding material for the large brief of evidence.
James Thomas Muir Wood also has been charged over the alleged murder of the teenager.
Emergency services conducted a large search for Pheobe when she failed to board a flight from Bundaberg Airport on May 15, 2025.
Her body was found in bushland near Gin Gin weeks later.
The case of a third person charged over Pheobe’s alleged murder, Kieren Daniel Mittelheuser, was also mentioned in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today.

Mr Mittelheuser has been charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder and one count of attempting to pervert justice.
The court heard his application for Legal Aid funding had been refused, and his lawyer was in the process of appealing that decision.
Mr Mittelheuser is expected to appear in court again on May 5.
