Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo: what we know

If the two greatest Arnott’s biscuits had a baby this is exactly what you would get. 

The brand new Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo features crunchy biscuits layers of Tim Tam biscuits sandwiched between a raspberry jammy centre and indulgent coconut cream (à la Iced VoVo), all covered in smooth milk chocolate. 

With Tim Tam hailed as Australia’s #1 biscuit and Iced VoVo being purchased by more than a million Aussie households, it sounds like Arnott’s has created the best bikkie of all time, TBH. 

‘Uniquely Australian’: Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo

Over the years, controversy has plagued the Iced VoVo, with many Aussies saying that they’ve shrunk and the recipe has changed. 

Arnott’s claims that neither the size nor recipe has ever changed, but the passion Aussies have for this debate just shows how important the Iced VoVo is in Aussie culture. 

It only made sense that Arnott’s combined this controversial pink bikkie with Tim Tams, to create an icon that Aussies are sure to love (no matter where they sit in the Iced VoVo debate).

How the new Iced VoVo Tim Tams came about

A spokesperson for Arnott’s said: “We’re always listening to the flavours fans are craving from Australia’s Favourite Chocolate Biscuit, and while a lamington Tim Tam has long been on the wish list, we knew we could go one better.”

“Our ongoing collaborations with Coles reflects a shared focus on blending nostalgia and fresh innovation, with Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo delivering just that. We know Aussies will love this uniquely Australian twist on indulgence! What more could you wish for?”

What do the Iced VoVo Tim Tams taste like?

We were lucky enough to get an early taste test of the latest Arnott’s creation. It did not disappoint.

I might be biased though, I am Australia’s #1 Iced VoVo fan (self-proclaimed). 

There is really nothing to hate about this bikkie: that jammy centre combined with the perfectly coconutty cream is pure Iced VoVo-esque perfection – and the milk chocolate was surprisingly complementary to the Iced VoVo flavours. 

When I heard an Iced VoVo Tim Tam was launching, I assumed it would be coated in white chocolate. But milk chocolate feels more ‘Tim Tam’ and also gives the Tim Tam an almost Cherry Ripe-esque vibe that just works. 

10/10! 

When can you buy Iced VoVo Tim Tams?

From mid-April, Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo will be available from Coles supermarkets nationwide for RRP $6.00.
