Cardi B does not play when it comes to her career or her money. So when she recently became the victim of credit card fraud, the rapper came out swinging.

The Grammy winner didn’t hold back in an Instagram Live video on Tuesday, revealing to her followers that four people used her credit card and went on a $US60,000 ($85,000) shopping spree within the span of one hour.

In her four-minute rant, Cardi – real name Belcalis Almánzar – said that her American Express credit card went missing about two weeks ago but she only started receiving notifications about suspicious transactions this week.

Cardi B sends unhinged message to credit card thieves

“You know I don’t play about my money, right?” she began in the lengthy clip. “So my credit, my AMEX, is connected to my phone. B***h, every single time that something is purchased with my AMEX, I get a notification like a n***a is texting me.”

“I could be ordering porn and me and my accountant is gonna get a notification that I purchased porn from my credit card,” she added. “That’s how much I don’t play about my money.”

The first red flag came through her phone, alerting her that $US40,000 ($57,000) was spent at upmarket US department store Saks Fifth Avenue.

After initially thinking it was one of her assistants buying things on her behalf while she’s currently away on tour, Cardi then realised something was wrong when she got another alert 35 minutes later – this time from Apple for a $US20,000 ($28,000) purchase.

“Some weird sh*t was happening,” she said. “Before I even called my accountant, my accountant called me ‘cause [they] also get a notification … As soon we saw it was some funny activity going on, we completely cut off the credit card.”

“But guess what, f***ers? We called those stores … Let me tell y’all motherf***ers something. Y’all going to jail, we got clear pictures of you motherf***ers trying to get money out of a Chase [ATM].”

The furious star explained that the group attempted to withdraw cash from various Chase bank ATMs with her card, which wouldn’t have worked anyway since her card doesn’t allow ATM withdrawals.

The Bodak Yellow rapper then proceeded to describe the culprits to her 164 million Instagram followers.

“Y’all look Arab and y’all look Dominican,” she claimed in her video. “One of you is bald-headed with a very thick beard. One of y’all look like y’all ain’t got early twenties with curly black hair. One of y’all got a grey silver jacket and you got a stomach. And one of y’all is short and bald with a beard.”

Cardi said if she came across the thieves’ home address before police do, she would not hesitate to handle the situation herself.

“You’re lucky that I don’t got your address,” she threatened. “Because if I get your address before these people that got these people that’s doing the investigation on y’all, if I get the address before them, I’m gonna get them beat up. Word to my mother.”
