Arman Tsarukyan spends a lucrative figure every month as he preps for fights ahead of a potential UFC lightweight title shot.
Top UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan continues to wait for another title shot after defeating Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar last year. After the UFC announced Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje for UFC Freedom 250, Tsarukyan continues to wait on the sidelines for clarity on his next bout, but has claimed that good news is on the way in the upcoming weeks.
Tsarukyan is undoubtedly one of the greatest fighters in the world, despite his frosty relationship with the UFC matchmakers in recent months. He was supposed to fight then-UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 last year before withdrawing just hours before the card due to injury.
Tsarukyan comes from a wealthy family in Armenia, and it’s been posited that Tsarukyan could retire from Mixed Martial Arts today and still live a lavish life without a paycheck. As Tsarukyan continues to rack up wins inside the Octagon, he’s enjoying himself outside of it.
Arman Tsarukyan spends more than a half million a month on watches, other luxuries
In a recent interview on the Full Send Podcast, Tsarukyan was asked about his monthly spending habits, and his answer raised eyebrows.
“Probably $500,000 to $700,000 a month,” Tsarukyan said.
“Every month, I buy one watch after grappling or wrestling. A watch usually costs around $250,000. People are worried about me leaving the UFC once I become the champion, but where am I going to leave to? [LAUGHS].”
Tsarukyan didn’t go into detail about how much he earns per UFC fight, but he has also built a following in content creation in recent months to help boost his income. Despite his massive wealth outside of the Octagon, Tsarukyan still has his sights set on becoming one of the greatest fighters in lightweight history.
