Rory McIlory will be looking to defend his throne after an emotional victory last spring, completing his career grand slam, but there will be plenty of elite challengers in the 2026 field — even without Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson.
Scottie Scheffler is in the mix whenever he’s on the greens, while Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele are among the other big names to watch. The Masters always brings surprises, though, and some underdogs could find themselves in contention by the time Sunday’s final round comes around.
Will McIlroy go back-to-back? Will Scheffler claim his third Masters win? Or will a new face emerge, accepting a green jacket for the first time?
