Welcome to a BUSY Friday night of hoops in the NBA!

The Knicks still have a shot at the No. 2 seed in the East after their win over the Celtics on Thursday.
With only two game days remaining in the 2025-26 NBA regular season, 14 of the 20 postseason seeds have yet to be claimed. In the East, just two games separate the fifth-place Raptors from the ninth-place Hornets, and in the West, one game is all the difference between the third-place Nuggets and fifth-place Rockets, with the Lakers sandwiched in the middle.
In the first of Prime Video’s doubleheader, Atlanta will host Cleveland for their second matchup in three days following a 122-116 victory for the Cavs on Wednesday (7 ET). The Hawks need to win one of their two remaining contests to clinch a postseason berth and avoid the Play-In Tournament. Donovan Mitchell (ankle), Jarrett Allen (knee) and Sam Merrill (hamstring) are all listed as out for Cleveland.
Later, Houston aims to extend their win streak to nine games when they host Minnesota (9:30 ET, Prime Video). The Rockets are fighting to leapfrog the Lakers for the fourth seed out West, while the Timberwolves, who are expected to be without Anthony Edwards (knee), Julius Randle (hand) and Bones Hyland (hip), are locked into the sixth seed.
