The men’s tennis team earned a decisive CUNYAC victory over rival Hunter College on Saturday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens. The visiting Bearcats controlled the match from start to finish, sweeping all three doubles and all six singles contests.

The visiting Bearcats secured the opening team point by winning all three doubles matches in convincing fashion. At No. 2 doubles, Ryan Huang and Samuel Park earned a 6–2 victory, while Juan Mendoza and Philipp Roeder dominated at No. 1 doubles with a 6–0 win. The pairing of Joshua Bey and Anlact Huynh completed the doubles sweep with a 6–0 victory at No. 3.

Momentum carried into singles play, where the Bearcats again asserted their dominance by winning all six matches. Mendoza led the way at No. 1 singles with a commanding 6–1, 6–1 victory, while Roeder followed with a strong performance at No. 2 singles, winning 6–0, 6–1. They squad cruised through the remaining singles matches to secure the overall win.

With the victory, the Bearcats recorded their 10th win of the season and improved to 4–0 in CUNYAC play. They will return to action on Tuesday, April 14, traveling to York College for another CUNYAC matchup. First serve is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Jamaica, New York.
