MUNCIE, Ind. – – Coming off a second consecutive record-breaking season, the Ball State women’s golf team is set to build on its recent success under fourth-year head coach Cameron Andry as it officially opens the 2025–26 season at the Boilermaker Classic (Sept. 1–2).

The Cardinals concluded the 2024–25 campaign with a program-best 301.66 stroke average, nearly two strokes better than the previous record of 303.61 set during the 2023–24 season. The team also recorded 22 individual rounds at or below par.

The Boilermaker Classic marks the first of 11 tournaments on Ball State’s 2025-26 schedule and will be followed by the Brittany Kelly Classic hosted by the Cardinals at The Players Club at Woodland Trails in Yorktown, Indiana. Ball State has claimed the team title in each of the past two Brittany Kelly Classics, while senior Jasmine Driscoll is the defending individual champion. Driscoll won last year’s event by a record five strokes with a score of 5-under (211).

During the fall, the Cardinals will also compete in the Red Raider Invitational (Sept. 23–25), the Marilynn Smith Invitational (Oct. 6–7) and the Diamante Intercollegiate (Oct. 20–22). In addition, individuals will participate in the Golfweek Put Me In Coach Invitational (Oct. 6–7), held at Delaware Country Club in Muncie.

Following the winter break, Ball State resumes play at the Rio Verde Invitational (Feb. 20–22) and will host the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational (March 3–5) on the Flamboyan Course at the Wyndham Palmas Golf & Beach Resort.

The spring schedule also includes appearances at the Nashville Invitational (March 23–24), the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge (April 6–8), and the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational (April 17–18).

The regular season culminates with the 2026 Mid-American Conference Championships, hosted by Kent State at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio (April 26–28). The winning team – and the individual medalist, if not on the winning squad – will earn a spot in the NCAA Regionals, held at one of six predetermined sites from May 11–13.

Last season, Driscoll became just the third golfer in program history to claim MAC medalist honors and earn an individual NCAA Regional berth. She finished 59th at the NCAA Lexington Regional with a score of +15 (231), the best NCAA Regional performance in Ball State history.
