Now that the dust has settled for UFC 327, new betting odds for potential bouts involving newly-minted light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg have surfaced.

Ulberg clashed with Jiri Prochazka in the main event of UFC 327 this past Saturday in Miami. Things weren’t looking good for “Black Jag,” who suffered a knee injury early on. It ultimately didn’t matter, as Ulberg shut the lights off Prochazka to become the new 205-pound king.

BetOnline has posted new betting lines for possible clashes between Ulberg and Pereira, and Ulberg and Magomed Ankalaev. Ulberg is the underdog for both matchups.

Pereira is scheduled to face Ciryl Gane for the interim UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14. As for Ankalaev, he hasn’t been seen inside the Octagon since suffering a second-round TKO loss to Pereira in their Oct. 2025 rematch.

During his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Ulberg revealed what went wrong for him early in the title fight against Prochazka. Despite the adversity, Ulberg never wavered from the task at hand.

“It was my knee,” Ulberg said. “I blew out my knee, but I never ever counted myself out. I knew that all I needed was that one shot, and I ended up getting it. So, I knew that Jiri was hesitant to come forward and I soon as I land my left hand, he’s going. I’ve got to sort this knee out.”

With the win, Ulberg has now improved his pro MMA record to 14-1. This is the first time he has won a major world championship in MMA. He also earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus.

At the moment, there’s no word on how severe the damage to Ulberg’s knee is. That also means it’s unknown how long he will need to be on the shelf to recover.
