DAZN has officially secured a new two-year agreement with British broadcaster, Ade Oladipo, solidifying his position as the premier face of the platform’s boxing coverage.

The deal extends a relationship that began in 2021, marking Oladipo’s evolution from a YouTube creator to a global sports anchor leading DAZN’s live and non-live programming across Europe and Saudi Arabia.

Oladipo will continue to serve as the main anchor for EMEA boxing coverage, a role he shares with US counterpart, Kate Scott.

The extension ensures continuity for DAZN’s broadcast team as the platform enters a heavy schedule of marquee international fixtures.

Reflecting on the extension, Oladipo described DAZN as “family” and highlighted the platform’s trajectory.

“With the rights we’ve added and the talent we’ve brought onboard, as a platform and as a broadcaster, we’re only getting bigger and better.”

“I can’t wait to see what these next two years have in store,” Oladipo said.

From the ‘Green Chair’ to Global Arenas

Originally discovered through his YouTube channel, Oladipo’s rapport with former world champion Tony Bellew on The DAZN Boxing Show became a cornerstone of the platform’s UK launch.

In less than five years, Oladipo has progressed to anchoring major fight nights and conducting high-stakes interviews with the sport’s elite, including Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, and Tyson Fury. Beyond the ring, his versatility has seen him lead coverage for the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and the Six Kings Slam tennis tournament.

Upcoming Major Assignments

As part of the new deal, Oladipo is slated to anchor several landmark events in May 2026:

May 9: The domestic heavyweight clash between Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois.
May 23: The highly anticipated return of Oleksandr Usyk against kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven, hosted at the Pyramids of Giza.

He will continue to lead a broadcast team featuring seasoned analysts and commentators including Tony Bellew, Carl Frampton, Adam Smith, Darren Barker, and Barry Jones.
