You might think that’s self-explanatory, but there’s a reason it’s quite notable when it comes to Chicago Bulls forward Lachlan Olbrich.

Before Sunday, Olbrich had never had an NBA game with double-digit points.

Before Sunday, Olbrich had never had an NBA game with double-digit rebounds.

And before Sunday, Olbrich had never had an NBA game with double-digit assists.

On Sunday, he went for 10 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.

It might just be the most improbable triple-double in NBA history.

Olbrich was the 55th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. A 6-foot-8 Australian, he was never viewed as a top prospect.

This season, even after his big night, he’s averaging just 2.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 37 games at the NBA level.

Yet somehow, with end-of-season antics in full force, Olbrich got himself a triple-double.

There were lots of bizarre stats put up down the stretch of the season by players playing for teams that are out of the playoff picture.
