Niantic is holding a new Community Day event in Pokémon GO this afternoon, as players will have a chance to snag Tinkatink and take part in a few activities. Players will see Tinkatink appear more frequently on the map, along with a greater chance to snag a Shiny version or one with a unique background. You’ll also have the tools to Evolve them into Tinkatuff and then into Tinkaton during the event, or up to four hours after it’s finished, to earn a Tinkaton that knows the Charged Attack Gigaton Hammer. Tinkatink Hammers Away On Pokémon GO’s Latest Community Day
For Trainers that enjoy competing in the GO Battle League, Tinkaton is considered a fierce warrior in both the Great League and Ultra League. If you’re looking to add a Pokémon with a lengthy list of resistances and a diverse move set to your GO Battle League team, it might be worth using Community Day to earn tons of Tinkatink Candy to evolve Tinkatink and Tinkatuff, power up your Tinkaton, and teach Tinkaton a second Charged Attack. Celebrate Tinkatink’s Community Day with research, including Community Day Special Research and Field Research. Trainers can complete Community Day–themed Field Research tasks focused on catching Tinkatink to earn rewards such as Stardust, Ultra Balls, and additional encounters with Tinkatink. Community Day Special Research is available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers who complete this research will earn the following rewards.
