Fares Ziam is yet to get matched up with a ranked UFC lightweight.

Ziam takes on rising Tom Nolan at UFC Fight Night 278 on June 6, which takes place at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas (Paramount+). Both fighters confirmed the news on social media after an initial report from MMA Odds Breaker.

Ziam (18-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) debuted in the UFC’s 155-pound rankings after finishing Nazim Sadykhov by TKO at UFC 323 this past December. The win over Sadykhov marked the 29-year-old Algerian-French fighter’s sixth win in a row.

Since losing his UFC debut, Dana White’s Contender Series alum Nolan (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) has won four straight fights. The Aussie is coming off a bonus-winning submission of Charlie Campbell at UFC Fight Night 260 last June.

The latest UFC Fight Night 278 lineup includes:

Belal Muhammad v. Gabriel Bonfim

Brendan Allen vs. Edmen Shahbazyan

Jeisla Chaves vs. Yuneisy Duben

Edgar Chairez vs. Bruno Silva

Joanderson Brito vs. Jordan Leavitt
