He vowed to enjoy his success and stats from his health tracker watch suggest he partied long into the night.
McIlroy, 36, wore a Whoop band throughout his victory and during his celebrations.
Whoop CEO Will Ahmed revealed the golf star had a recovery of just 7 per cent the morning after his historic win, which suggests he missed out on his usual sleep and celebrated long into the night.
It is a dramatic decline from his excellent recoveries during the tournament, which reached a high of 94 per cent after his third round.
McIlroy, who became just the fourth player to defend his Masters title, promised he would enjoy his triumph to the fullest.
He said: “We lose a lot more in golf than we win.
“So I think when the winning comes around, you have to celebrate it to the fullest.
“I will have a good time tonight and probably have a sore head flying back to Florida tomorrow morning.”
McIlroy’s heartbeat during the four days at Augusta was also revealed, with the six-time major winner peaking at 150bpm when he sank his winning putt.
Ahmed described his resting heart rate of 47-49bpm as “elite”, although a spike of 135bpm ahead of the final hole suggested he did feel some nerves.
His wayward tee shot on the 18th meant it was not plain sailing for McIlroy, whose bogey on the last was enough to beat world No.1 Scottie Scheffler by a single shot.
