PwC Australia increased average partner income to $814,000 in 2025, up 6 per cent on the prior year despite its profit dipping 2 per cent to $608 million, as the roll-out of artificial intelligence capability boosted efficiency.

The result, the second consecutive year of partner pay growth amid falling earnings, reflects a shift in the firm’s operating model as increased use of AI and a reduced partner and staff headcount help grow margins.
