Home and Away’s Roo Stewart shares she intends to adopt Cohen Luther in upcoming scenes, but not everyone is on board with the decision.
In new scenes of the Aussie soap, Roo feels guilty and concerned when Cohen is rushed to the hospital and Bree Cameron diagnoses him with tonsillitis.
Alf Stewart goes to the hospital to support his daughter, hugging her and telling her to get some rest as he’ll be with Cohen.
Alf and Cohen chat about a fishing magazine, with Alf realising how sweet and vulnerable the teen is and why Roo is so committed to helping him.

When Roo returns, Alf tells her how proud he is of her. She then tells her dad about her life-changing decision: she wants to apply to adopt Cohen. Alf is hesitant about whether this would be right for Roo, as he doesn’t want her to get hurt again after falling for Eliza Sherwood’s scheming.
Later on, David Langham updates Roo on Cohen’s mum Samantha’s case, telling her she’s been sentenced to 12 months in prison.
