Victoria Metro’s Under-18 Women’s team is a juggernaut with four players averaging double figures through four games at the Australian Championships in Queensland this week.

Matilda Trout (16 PPG), Marianela Fakalata (14), Madi Ryan (12.5) and Vanessa Tavete (12.5) have made the Vics the outright tournament favourites with a +236 points margin to lead Pool B with a 4-0 record.

Ryan is coming off an exceptional 2025, representing Australia is three international tournaments – 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup, the 2025 FIBA U16 Asia Cup and 2025 FIBA Under-17 Oceania Championships.
